Chocolate Cake in a tin

I used the recipe for steaming to bake it. Verdict: Nice
Got the recipe from a cooking forum at here.

Before flipping over. It rose quite a bit.

After flipping. Nice shape. I frosted with chocolate glaze and kept in the fridge. Only to find it gone a few days later. I barely had 1/2 a slice. All ended up in my son's stomach who was having it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Black and White cupcakes with oozing chocolate

I was making the zebra cake when I have some batter left over. So decided to make them into black and white cupcakes. Also I had some chocolate buttons left and put them on top for more taste. Well the outcome was superb, only that once they have cooled completely the chocolate buttons hardened a bit. But taste was great so whats there to complain.

My zebra cake, unfortunately I didn't snap after cutting it. Because I used melted chocolate to mix, the outcome of the choc layer was a bit crusty on top. Lesson learnt.

Again bad photography!

Pooh Bear and Tigger

Finally I got my hands on the pair of winnie the pooh cutters. I managed to test them out and it was great. Only thing was I had some difficulty in rolling out the dough and lifting it after cutting. But the end result was great. I added some melted chocolate to highlight the features and nothing can go wrong with Chocolate right.....

Sorry for all my bad photography. Basically I finish completing all my baking at night so no proper lighting. And I tend to get exhausted to display nicely.

GingerBread Boy and Animal Cookies

I was doing some simple shopping for Christmas and I came across this box of premix. It's Greens gingerbread cookies. I have not tried Gingerbread before and not keen to either. Since hubby said he will eat, tot might as well get the premix to try. I don't have to do it from scratch, besides it includes a cutter, icing and chips. Quite a good buy I would say. Though the box stated can only make 15, hahaha..............I made plenty. I not only have gingerbread boy, also a hippo, bear, elephant and stars.

I was trying to make them finish before my sons came back from school yesterday and did, except for the icing part. So in the end after so much of persuasion, I got them to help me put the eyes and buttons. I probably made about 60-70 biscuits, so gonna give away some.
